ELECTROTHERAPY SYSTEM

Intensity Select Combo II

The ISCII is a prescription multi-modality electrotherapy system providing Interferential Current, TENS, Russian and Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES) modalities clinically proven to help patients manage pain, relax muscle spasms, increase circulation and treat muscle
atrophy.

For the following indications:

  • Symptomatic relief of post-surgical pain
  • Symptomatic relief of post traumatic acute pain
  • Symptomatic relief of chronic intractable pain
  • Relaxation of muscle spasms
  • Maintain or increase range of motion
  • Increase local blood circulation
  • Immediate post-surgical stimulation of calf muscles to prevent
  • venous thrombosis
  • Prevention or retardation of disuse atrophy
  • Muscle re-education

Home Interferential Therapy

May help reduce pain, pain medication taken, and swelling while increasing range of motion in patients undergoing knee surgery. This could result in quicker return to activities of daily living and athletic activities. Jarit GJ, Mohr KJ, Waller R, Glousman RE. The effects of home interferential therapy on post-operative pain, edema, and range of motion of the knee. Clin J Sport Med. 2003 Jan;13(1):16-20.

Interferential Stimulation

Interferential current therapy is stimulation made by the interference of two medium frequency electrical signals of different frequencies levels that work together to create a new lower beat frequency. The stimulation of large A-beta nerve fibers interfere with the pain transmission messages from the spinal cord to the brain.

NON-ADDICTIVE
PAIN RELIEF AND RECOVERY

The E-Stim unit is a drug free option to treat patients with soft tissue injuries and pain. Less side effects and addiction risk.

Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation

Neuromuscular electrical stimulation can help to relax muscle spasms, strengthen atrophied muscles, increase circulation and increase range of motion.
